The Z30 amplifier was part of a range of Sinclair offerings to the hi-fi market.  It was part of the Project 60 selection of modules (see the other hi fi items and also take a look at the Sinclair documents page).

There were two amplifiers in the Project 60 series.  This one and the Z50.  Both could be used in a variety of solutions from car radios to PA systems.

When it was introduced the Z30 was available fully built and tested for the amazing price of £4.48 (probably quite a lot thirty years ago!).

Power output was 15 to 20 watts into 8 or 3 ohms respectively.  Claimed frequency response was 30 to 300,000 Hz +/- 1dB.

A scarce item nowadays and even though not the prettiest thing to look at it is sure to be one of the top Sinclair collectables.
