Sinclair
is well known for his electric "car" and his computers but
the general public are not really aware of his foray into hi-fi.
Sinclair
introduced at least three ranges of hi-fi items. Brochures for
some of these can be seen in the Old Sinclair Adverts section off of
the main Sinclair page.
The most striking
thing about Sinclair's hi-fi equipment was the design. Like
almost every other piece of Sinclair equipment the hi-fi systems
introduced revolutionary looks.
Unlike the
prolific computers, the hi-fi is very difficult to find in
sales. This may be because it is still treasured by its owners
or perhaps because it didn't sell in great numbers. Either
way, any piece of Sinclair hi-fi is sure to be a buy if you see it.
